MARTA RESUMES IN-PERSON
MEETINGS

ATLANTA – The
Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) resumed in-person
meetings at the expiration of Governor Kemp’s Public Health State of Emergency
on July 1. This includes all board and board committee meetings, and all public
meetings and hearings.
MARTA Board
meetings are held the second Thursday of each month (July’s meeting is an
exception) beginning with a work session at noon followed by the meeting at
1:30 p.m. The board committees consisting of Planning & Capital Programs,
Operations & Safety, Business Management, External Relations, and Audit
also meet regularly. You can find meeting dates and times here MARTA (itsmarta.com).
All other public meeting and hearing dates, times, and locations will be shared
on MARTA’s website, social media pages, and through traditional media channels.
All public
meetings will continue to be streamed live on MARTA’s YouTube page which can be
accessed here https://bit.ly/MARTAPublicMeeting.
Board meetings are
held at MARTA headquarters, located at 2424 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta, 30324,
in the sixth floor board room. Seating in the board room will be limited with
overflow seating available in the bid room on the first floor near the
elevators. A reminder that masks are required to be worn while on MARTA
property, even if vaccinated.
Members of the
media and those wishing to attend in-person are encouraged to ride MARTA to
Lindbergh Center Station which is adjacent to headquarters.
