Projects

Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway Arterial Rapid Transit (ART)

Thank you to everyone who attended the public meetings on the Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway Arterial Rapid Transit (ART) routes. Through a robust planning process, MARTA has identified a preferred service plan and proposed stop locations to support ART service on Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway.  

Along Cleveland Avenue, proposed ART service will follow the majority of the Route 78 alignment from East Point Station to Jonesboro Road but will not loop around Browns Mill Golf Course as Route 78 does. The proposed Metropolitan Pkwy ART service will serve the high-ridership segment of Route 95 from West End Station to Cleveland Avenue and have a turnaround near the Walmart on Springdale Road. The below documents include a presentation on the project, project schedule and expected delivery in 2024/2025.
